#1 Health Hack!

I use this protein to fill the protein gap in my diet without hurting my gut. Red meat has risks, as does dairy. This pea protalways treats me right. I just shake it in a blender bottle and drink it with my meals to get extra satiation and nutrition. 10/10 amazing.

Unflavored is Not Flavorless

While this pea protein is not chalky at all, the unflavored version actually has a very strong off putting flavor. I couldn’t mask it in my blueberry and banana smoothie. It taste pretty awful, so if you try this, I’d recommended a flavored version.

My experience with pea protein.

I generally have two comments about the pea protein. My comments are in contrast to Naked Nutrition whey protein. First, the pea protein with no added flavor has a noticeable taste. I have to add honey to cover this up. Second, the pea protein has a very gritty texture, even after being mixed in a Vitamix blender.

Great for UC

I was looking for a protein powder that wouldn’t upset my Ulcerative Colitis. This was recommended and I’m so happy for that! Usually Whey protein makes me bloated and uncomfortable. This protein has allowed me to continue taking protein without triggering my UC, and it also helps me feel full throughout my morning. While the taste isn’t amazing, it tastes exactly like it’s source so I think people should take that into account before passing any judgement. It’s an easy enough taste to mask with another flavor (I add a peanut butter protein).
