Most of the time, store-bought protein bars really aren't the best nutritional choice you could make.
Ā
Stuffed with added sugar, preservatives and other additives, these products tend to have more than you would think in common with candy bars.
Ā
Fortunately, you can get around this by craft your own protein bars. Here's a recipe, to get you started, for a delicious coconut and vanilla whey protein bar.
Ā
- ½ cup vanilla whey protein powder
- ¼ cup shredded coconut, toasted
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- ¼ cup milk (of choice)
- 1 ½ tbsp dark chocolate, melted
Place the protein powder, shredded coconut and flour in a large mixing bowl. Add the milk and stir until thoroughly combined. The mixture should form a thick batter that can be molded.
Ā
Shape the batter into three bars and place them in a small baking dish. Melt the chocolate and dip the bars in it. Alternatively, you can pour the chocolate over the bars.
Ā
Freeze the bars for about 30 minutes and then enjoy!
Ā

Alternatively, if you're looking forĀ something on the go our chocolate chip protein cookies are made with real food ingredients and no artificial flavors.

Similar to other Naked supplements our bars contain only 5 to 7 ingredients and none of them require a science degree to understand and pronounce. Ā
