Solid powder without the gross taste of others. Gastro

There are a number of products one can buy that because of what they are and what they deliver, it's very difficult to objectively rate them. Creatine powder is one of those. I do non-competitive virtual bike riding on a platform. It's essentially me sitting on a bike type machine, spinning the pedals and this is hooked up to a "trainer" which communicates with the app, and applies varying amounts of tension to simulate riding up hills etc. I purchased this to powder to help make my rides a bit more energetic as Creatine has been shown to help with rapid bursts of muscular energy (sprints). The athlete has to first load the creatine into their body via mixing it with water or other liquid. It can take upwards of a week. After it's loaded, one then has to ascertain, was the burst of speed I just had greater than what I had in my legs before I started taking this. It would take a fair amount of data gathering and number crunching over a good amount of time to see if this is having an effect. This is beyond the scope of this review, but what I can say is the amount of recommended creatine (5g ) HAS been shown to give an athlete extra energy, so I believe it. The only thing left to review is the taste. There are some variations out there that are horrible tasting. I chose the unflavored powder, and while there is a tiny bit of a taste, it's not too intrusive or chemically. It dissolves quickly and was just what I was looking for. The company gets good reviews for the quality of…

Small HCl Dose Absorbs Better, Clean Ingredients, Unflavored, Electrolytes

I've been using Naked Lean Creatine HCl for weeks and find great quality in its no-bloat formula versus monohydrate. 'It's been perfect for my routine. At just 750 mg Con-Cret HCl per the recommended 100 lbs bodyweight, plus organic prickly pear for water balance and electrolytes for absorption, it doesn't give me GI upset. The unflavored mixes seamlessly into shakes or yogurt; no fillers or junk. Though pricier, 100 servings justify it, and my energy holds better mid-workout. Ideal for clean gains. Excellent value for the price. My only complaint is the package is half filled, which makes it seem as if you were not given the full amount for your money ... so 1 star off for that ... because truly, I don't know if I was shorted material in my container.

    Creatine without the water weight

This is a great supplement if you want a patented form of creatine HCl. The pairing with a patented form of prickly pear extract really makes this a powerhouse creatine without the initial water weight. It's very soluble too if you dislike that about regular monohydrate. Great product from a great brand.

Great Option for Those Bothered by Monohydrate Effects

I've been taking creatine for about a year. When I first started, the scale immediately went up a couple of pounds. I couldn't see it or feel it (in the way my clothes fit) so it didn't bother me a whole lot but as a woman, it bothered me a little. This Creatine HCl is a great option to avoid that problem (and GI issues in general although I've never really had an issue there). A smaller dose is nice (half the amount of monohydrate). I just dump it into my protein shake and it's completely undetectable. For me, it genuinely makes a difference in my workouts, particularly in my energy level. I can do more without completely tanking at the end. I'm also crossing my fingers for potential neuro benefits. I've been taking Naked Nutrition protein powder for three years and I'm very happy with it. Adding this creatine to my daily routine is super simple. Even on rest days, I just add it to the milk I put on my cereal or mix it into my yogurt. The hurdles are price, and to a smaller extent, the lesser research on HCl compared to that of monohydrate. But this product is definitely worth it for those who have difficulty with Creatine Monohydrate.

    Decent Quality Creatine Supplement

This is a decent creatine supplement for muscle recovery & cognitive function for your brain. The quality is decent and works very well since it is derived from HCL form which is more bio available form of creatine. However, it would be far better if it only contains creatine or magnesium glycinate instead of citrate. Overall, I'm happy with the supplement and it gets the job done for your pre/post training recovery. Solid 4/5.
