How to Use
When:

I'm a first time user for this product and liked the write up and wanted to give it a try. So far so good - great flavour and I mix it with a couple of other fruity things as well as my fiber supplement. As always with Naked I feel there's good value for money. Their pricing for the amount of product just seems better and everything always arrives quickly and is well packaged.

I won't go into HCl vs. monohydrate in this review beyond a couple of brief observations. To me, they're the same except I take less HCl per serving. I've used both and had indistinguishable results. In other words, both work great and are to me indispensable bodybuilding supplements. That said, I love this flavored version of HCl by Naked. I trust the purity and effectiveness. As you can see from my images, it is a nice pink color. I mixed one serving in about six ounces of water, and it mixes easily with a spoon, just a little bit left in the glass at the end, easily swished down with a bit more water. It is a fine, smooth powder that scoops and, again, mixes easily. One negative for me is that you need a heaping scoop (see image) to get to the serving size of 3.4 grams (750 mg. of creatine HCl). You then need to weigh it each time and get it just right to make sure you're getting the right amount while not wasting any. Some spills this way, of course. Also, I am over 200 pounds, so I need two servings per their recommendation. So I have to do it twice or get a bigger scoop. I get having a one-serving size scoop, obviously, but I can't figure out why these companies can't tailor scoops to serving sizes without them having to be heaping. In use, this stuff is very sweet and delicious. I really like that because I like to make my own pre- and/or intra-workout drinks, and it's nice if they're a little sweet. I was slightly hesitant about the raspberry lime flavor, but actually tastes good. I have not expected a good flavor from any creatine supplement as I have tried (and disliked) many different brands. This one is super refreshing and doesn't have that weird chalky aftertaste some others have. It mixes really well too. I just shake it up with water and it's smooth, no clumps or gritty texture which is a huge plus. I think the price justifies what you get and doesn't feel like breaking the bank. I've been taking it consistently and feel like it's made a difference in my workouts, especially with strength and endurance. It's also nice knowing it's a simple, clean formula without a bunch of extra stuff thrown in. I actually look forward to taking this each day, which says a lot. Definitely a staple for me moving on!
