Simple ingredients that still performs like a normal pre-workout. The watermelon is slightly tart, but still offers a balanced sweetness. It blends flawlessly in a normal hand shaker bottle. Minimal foaming and can be enjoyed immediately. The focus last about two hours in my opinion and does not leave you jittery or crashing. Not the strongest pre-workout, but a great starting point for someone who is looking into some benefits.

I've tried a lot of different pre-workout/energy products over the years. This is a great choice, I think, if you don't mind a little bit of sugar (3 grams per 100 mg. of caffeine) and don't want stevia, sucralose, ace-K, or aspartame. It has the sugar plus monk fruit extract for sweetener. It's not that sweet and doesn't have any sodium, so the taste is just ok - a little bitter and definitely without that thick, syrupy flavor that a lot of these powders have. It's actually quite refreshing to chug in cold water, though, before a workout, and there isn't a bad aftertaste. One thing I love about this supplement is that one level scoop very easily comes out to 8 grams. A serving size is 16 grams (about 2 scoops, per the label). Yes! It is accurate. See my image. I got the 8.1 grams on my calibrated scale on my third try. First one came out to 8.3. Second one 7.9. Third one 8.1. All of those are acceptable to where I won't have to weigh scoops going forward. I then filled a half-scoop, weighed it, and that was 4 grams even. With so many of these powders, what it says on the label is really hard to duplicate on the scale. I don't mind that with something like BCAAs but with caffeine I need to know how much I'm getting. I've been taking a scoop and a half.
