I had an iron deficiency, likely from eating plant based and doing heavy exercising with a lot of sweating. I started getting spooned fingernails and losing progress on my workouts, so started taking iron supplements. The first brand I tried first didn't seem to do much and had ingredients I didn't like, so I looked further and had also switched to Naked Pea Protein and noticed they also had a Naked Iron supplement, so I gave it a try. I liked the ingredients better. Just an absorbable iron and then the cellulose capsule. My exercise endurance increased and my fingernails are getting better. So I am absorbing the iron now. I decided to stop taking the iron daily because it is a pretty large dose. 361%, so I don't want to overdo it. Too much iron is a problem too. I may just take it a couple times a week, I'm not sure yet.
