My husband has been on a weight loss journey. He started taking a GLP1 a few months ago, and although he's tolerating it very well, there are a lot of documented side effects when it comes to things like gas, bloating, and constipation. I obviously want him to be healthy and comfortable, so I was doing some research on possible products that could help alleviate any such symptoms. I've used Naked brand products before, and I've always thought they were excellent quality. I always appreciated that they had simple, natural, and well tested ingredients. When I saw that Naked made a gut health product that included so many well-known and important ingredients, I wanted to definitely check it out. I'm glad that I did. My husband mixes this product into his daily protein shakes. It is soluble in a smoothie and he doesn't notice it in there at all. It doesn't clump either. It also doesn't add any unusual taste or texture, at least not that he has noticed. It's a very easy product to use. Just add a scoop to your protein smoothie and you wouldn't even know it was there. I'll admit that this is not as cheap as some other products that I've seen, but I also think this stands apart in insofar as it's made of very high-quality ingredients and a little bit seems to go a long way. It's also hard to put a price on good gut health. There's just so many benefits in terms of regularity, general wellness, and your immune system. I think this may have been part of my missing piece to getting over the plateau I was on. I was stagnant in weight lose and was doing everything right (except not hitting my cardio goals each week consistently lol). I always felt bloated and just like my food was sitting in my tummy, a friend of mine mentioned this to me and I got it and also got locked in with my cardio; then BOOM down 12 lbs since January 1st! Get this if you are feeling stuck because I know once we heal our gut we heal our body, but I guess my pre and probiotics weren’t enough.
I do think it could mix a bit better because most times it doesn’t all dissolve for me, but it’s not terrible so I just throw the leftover chunks back LOL
