The unflavored version is truly tasteless and odorless, while chocolate and vanilla flavors are mild and not overly sweet. Users find it mixes exceptionally well in shakers, smoothies, coffee, yogurt, and baking recipes without clumping or chalky texture. Many appreciate its gentle effect on digestion, reporting no bloating or stomach upset compared to other brands. The powder blends smoothly with water, milk, or other liquids and creates nice foam in coffee. I bought this for my 2nd to oldest adult son. He said, he likes it that it tastes good and that he really likes that it’s not to sweet.

      Naked Whey Chocolate 5lb

We really like the chocolate whey protein itself. The ingredient list is clean and minimal, which is a big reason we chose Naked in the first place, and we’ve been happy with the product.

Unfortunately, our recent experience with the autoship/pricing was disappointing. Naked emailed us saying they couldn’t fulfill our autoship order because the product was out of stock. After it was restocked, we were told we would need to place the order ourselves rather than having the missed autoship order fulfilled. When I went to reorder, the subscription price had increased from $89.99 to $125.99 — nearly $40 more.

We still like the protein and appreciate the simple ingredients, but a price increase of that size, especially after an autoship order wasn’t fulfilled, makes it much harder to justify continuing with the brand. Unfortunately, there aren’t many alternatives offering the same level of ingredient simplicity and cleanliness, so we feel a bit stuck.

      Delivers exactly what's promised!

After trying many other brands, NAKED stood out for the simple, clean ingredients, so we had to try it. We had such a great surprise: it delivered a very pleasant taste and texture. My son and husband love it, too, and since it's the first time the 3 of us could agree on a protein powder brand, this became our go-to! I love it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, my husbands loves it with whole milk, and my son enjoys as a "desert", added to Greek yogurt or cottage cheese with a bit of raw, local honey.
