Senior Supply Planner

Senior Supply Planner

Position Summary

The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for owning end-to-end demand, supply, and inventory planning for Naked Nutrition, translating demand signals into executable production and material plans across finished goods, raw materials, and packaging. This role serves as the primary planning link between the Senior Procurement Director, co-manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring product availability is balanced against capacity constraints, lead times, service level targets, and inventory strategy within NetSuite.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and forecasting expertise with hands-on production and inventory planning experience, and has a track record of governing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and MRP processes, planning across multiple site locations, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end demand planning execution, including forecast development, assumption documentation, bias tracking, and scenario analysis based on sales trends, promotions, and historical performance.
  • Develop and lead production planning with co-manufacturers, translating demand plans into executable production schedules while balancing capacity constraints, lead times, service level targets, and material availability.
  • Execute finished goods and raw material inventory plans in alignment with defined inventory strategy, safety stock policies, and service level objectives; proactively identify risks, gaps, and tradeoffs.
  • Monitor finished goods and raw material inventory performance, including service levels, shortages, excess, and obsolescence risk, and escalate recommendations and decision points to the Senior Procurement Director as needed.
  • Partner with the Senior Procurement Director to review inventory policy performance across finished goods and raw materials, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Own and govern the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to plan finished goods production and the MRP planning process to translate MPS into raw material and packaging requirements, excluding item-level procurement execution.
  • Partner closely with the Procurement Analyst to ensure alignment between MRP outputs and item-level purchasing execution, escalating exceptions, constraints, or conflicts as needed.
  • Serve as the primary planning point of contact for co-manufacturers and internal stakeholders, proactively managing schedule changes, supply disruptions, and planning tradeoffs, and escalating issues when strategic decisions are required.
  • Develop and deliver demand, supply, and inventory planning dashboards, KPIs, and analytical insights using NetSuite, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, and Excel to support planning decisions.
  • Own and maintain MPS- and MRP-related master data, including supply planning definitions, planning parameters, and demand plan updates in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and integrity to support planning outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across demand planning, MPS/MRP processes, and planning execution, improving accuracy, visibility, and responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 7 - 10 years of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or production scheduling experience preferred.
  • Experience planning across multiple site locations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ERP experience with NetSuite required; experience with NetSuite MRP and MPS preferred.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, Domo, NSAW, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to collaborate with external partners and internal teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with teams across time zones, understand requirements, and develop analytical solutions.
