Naked Protein Baked Treats

Naked Protein Baked Treats

When you’re bored of protein shakes but still want to get your protein in, look no further than these satisfying and fluffy high-protein treats.

You can either use Naked Pea or Naked Whey Protein to create these nutty-cinnamon baked bars.

The addition of almond flour, almond butter, and eggs will boost up the protein content even higher to give your body a great source of post-workout fuel.

This recipe for baked treats makes about 6 servings, with each treat providing approximately 15 grams of high-quality protein.

These delicious treats can be made with zero added sugar, however, for a touch of all-natural sweetness you can add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.

Feel free to experiment with different protein powder flavors, however, vanilla flavored protein powders work particularly well with this recipe.

  3. 1/4 cup almond butter

  4. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  5. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  6. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  7. 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional for a touch of sweetness)

  11. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other milk of your choice)

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to combine.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and almond milk.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a thick batter forms. Make sure everything is well incorporated.

  5. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking dish.

  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is full cooked.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the baking dish for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and enjoy!

These baked treats can be enjoyed any time of day, whether before or after a workout, or even a late night snack. Feel free to experiment with different flavors of protein powder to customize the recipe to your taste. Enjoy!
