Short-Form Content Operations Lead

We’re a product-led consumer nutrition brand selling premium protein and supplements. Our focus is clean ingredients, credibility, and long-term customer trust - not founder-led content or influencer hype.

We’re building an early-stage short-form distribution system designed to scale awareness across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using a managed network of editors (“clipper army”).

This is a systems + operations role, not a traditional social media manager position.


What You’ll Own

  • Design and launch a short-form clipping system

    • Define clip formats, guardrails, music rules, and quality standards

    • Establish workflows for sourcing, editing, review, and posting

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a distributed group of editors

    • Identify and vet clippers

    • Set expectations, replace underperformers quickly, maintain consistency

  • Run day-to-day operations

    • Volume tracking

    • Performance reporting

    • Clip categorization and learnings

  • Optimize for signal, not vanity

    • Identify what’s working and double down

  • Collaborate with internal marketing team

    • Align clips with product positioning and brand safety standards

This role may include light hands-on editing early to set the quality bar, but the core responsibility is building and managing the system, not being an editor.

  • You understand distribution mechanics, not just content creation

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage build-out

  • You’re operational, decisive, and comfortable managing freelancers

  • You have good editorial judgment and brand-safety instincts
