Supply Chain Director

The purpose of the Supply Chain Director role at Naked Nutrition is to optimize the existing supply chain operations, while enabling the team to work towards the strategic goals and priorities of the senior leadership team efficiently and effectively.
Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in their field, can work under minimal supervision, and has a flexible schedule. This role reports to the COO at Naked Nutrition and is a 1099 position.
Primary responsibilities
- Ensure optimal in stock levels in all marketplaces.
- Collaborating with management to develop and implement plans for systems, processes, and personnel.
- Collaborating with the COO to determine where resources (people, budget, time) should be allocated. Ensuring operational infrastructure is set up to align with the organizational roadmap.
Main duties
- Manage the Inventory Tracking System
- Providing regular reporting on agreed metrics to the COO
- Ad hoc reporting as requested by the COO
- Produce actionable insights for operational optimization
- Inventory reconciliation
- Evaluate raw material needs
- Make scheduling recommendations for finished goods manufacturing
- Hire, train and manage new team members
Experience
- Previous supply chain management and analytical experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of logistics
- Ecommerce experience required (Amazon experience preferred).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience in Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred.
